Assistant Teaching Professor, Honors College
Full-time, nontenure track: 3-year term. Renewable.
Expected Start Date: August 2022

Essential Duties, Tasks and Responsibilities:
Primary Responsibilities
30 workload units per year, consisting of teaching, teaching-related, and service duties as assigned.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Teach HNRS 2010: Introduction to Critical Thinking, Fall
  • Teach HNRS 2020: Critical Thinking about Great Idea, Spring
  • Develop a research plan for assessing Honors College diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies
  • Plan, guide, collaborate, and advise the Dean on diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies within the Honors College.

Minimum Qualifications & Salary:
Minimum Qualifications
Degree required: terminal degree in any field that is offered at BGSU. Degree must be from an accredited university.
Demonstrated experience teaching critical thinking skills
Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Preferred Qualifications
Doctoral degree in any field that is also offered at BGSU. Degree must be from an accredited university.
