The Department of Industrial & Enterprise Systems Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign invites applications at any rank (open rank) for a part-time (50-70%) Teaching Professor or Professor of Practice (Clinical Professor) position in the Master of Science in Financial Engineering (MSFE) program. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching computational and algorithmic courses for the MSFE program, holding office hours, and providing academic advising to a subset of students in the program.

All successful candidates must have at least a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Computer Science, Business or a related field; a Masters or PhD in these fields is desired. Demonstrated success in developing coursework, teaching effectively, and mentoring/advising students is also required. In addition to teaching qualifications, successful candidates must exhibit exceptional potential in interdisciplinary research. Ideal candidates include those who demonstrate evidence of a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through teaching, research, and/or service endeavors.
