Colorado State University / The Career Center — Associate Director for Experiential Education

The Career Center at Colorado State University is recruiting for an Associate Director of Experiential Education. This position is a full-time, 12-month, role with responsibility for a) campus-wide student employee development and b) internship development initiatives. The Associate Director will provide a vision for these functions, ensures the vision aligns with the broader goals of the Center and institution, and conducts their leadership of these initiatives with specific attention towards student success and equitable and inclusive practice. In partnership with their team, the Associate Director will facilitate high-impact trainings to help campus supervisors effectively supervise and develop their student employees, consult with on- and off-campus employers to develop internship programs, actively cultivate new internship opportunities for CSU students, coordinate internship-related resources in the Career Center, and oversee the campus’s job and internship posting process. The Associate Director leads a team of three full-time employees, one graduate assistant, and multiple student interns, participates as a member of the Career Center’s leadership team, and reports to the Director of Employer Relations. The Career Center offers the option to work remotely for up to two days per week, pushes for a healthy work/life balance, and provides professional development funding.
