Coastal Carolina University — Customer Relations Specialist

Coastal Carolina University invites applications for the position of Customer Relations Specialist (Operations Assistant I). The Customer Relations Specialist provides customer support to constituents of the University. This position serves as the departmental communication liaison and support to the Office of Human Resources and Equal Opportunity. 

Duties include, but are not limited to: serve as primary initial contact for the Office of Human Resources and Equal Opportunity for internal and external constituents; receive incoming calls and determines appropriate routing; resolve routine problems and issues; complete employment verifications; log-in of all HR Paperwork coming into office; process and update demographic information in Datatel for University employees and affiliates; assist individuals coming for on- campus interviews with paperwork and directions; assist employees including student employees with completing new hire paperwork; reconcile volunteer and affiliate background checks; and perform other duties and assists on special projects, as assigned. 

Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) and two (2) years customer service experience is required.
