Bryn Mawr College — Programs Administrator and Assistant to the Dean in the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences

Bryn Mawr College has an opening for a Programs Administrator and Assistant to the Dean in the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences (GSAS).


The Programs Administrator and Assistant to the Dean will support the Dean of Graduate Studies in the overall operation of GSAS and serve as the primary liaison between students and the major administrative offices on campus.  This person will serve as office manager for the unit, supervise other staff and student assistants, manage the budget, assist with organizing various GSAS events, work with the Registrar to manage student records, partner with the Admissions and Communications team to help develop a plan to promote the excellence of Graduate Studies at Bryn Mawr College and support the overall recruitment and admissions process.  

Requirements include: Bachelor’s degree, 3 – 5 years’ administrative experience in higher education, self-directed, polished interpersonal skills, experiences with Microsoft Suite and an aptitude for software packages, e.g., JobX, OnBase, Slate, Peoplesoft, Moodle, Drupal, Blackbaud’s Financial Edge, E-Market, EMS (room reservations), etc.
