University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute — County Health Rankings and Roadmaps Co-Director

The University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute (UWPHI) seeks accomplished leaders in population health and equity to serve as Co-Directors of a nationally recognized program, County Health Rankings & Roadmaps (CHR&R). UWPHI is part of the School of Medicine and Public Health at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, one of the most prolific research universities in the world.

CHR&R embodies the institute’s mission to create conditions for everyone to be healthy. CHR&R provides data, evidence, guidance, and examples to build awareness of and action around the multiple factors that influence health. The program supports community leaders working to grow collective power to improve health equity through diagnosis of core problems, understanding and accounting for historical context, and implementing evidence-informed policies, practice, and systems changes. With the program entering its second decade, Co-Directors will evolve an influential, highly respected program and deepen its focus on growing community power to advance health and equity. Co-Directors will also cultivate and strengthen the program’s network of partner organizations and conduct high-profile outreach through national appearances and in media coverage.

We are hiring two Co-Director positions under a shared leadership model, with one responsible for leadership of CHR&R data, evidence, research and policy analysis assets, and one responsible for leadership of communications, outreach, engagement and dissemination of CHR&R assets.
