Associate Director, Reunion Giving

The prestigious Anderson School of Business at UCLA offers an exceptional academic program in the creative capital of the world. If you are a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who's interested in making an impact at the nation's No. 1 public university, UCLA is seeking an Associate Director, Reunion Giving to raise the funds to support the next generation of business leaders.

In this role, you will oversee reunion gift campaigns for UCLA Anderson's 41,000 alumni and manage a portfolio of current and upcoming reunion donor prospects and volunteers. Reporting to the Senior Director, Leadership and Annual Giving, you will develop fundraising goals and discovery, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship strategies for donors, including visits and direct solicitations; recruitment strategies for donor prospects; and strategies to realize leadership gifts and class participation across degree programs.

Your optimism and personal integrity will inspire confidence and trust as you develop strong, collegial and effective working relationships with the associate deans, development and alumni relations team members, faculty and key UCLA Anderson staff. You will serve as an important intermediary between alumni relations and development to ensure that reunion giving and associated alumni-focused development programs are conducted and coordinated in a high-quality, highly personalized manner.

The ideal candidate should have prior experience in campaign setting with a demonstrated knowledge of development principles and practices and a working knowledge of the missions of alumni relations and development programs. You should have a minimum of one year of experience cultivating and soliciting individuals and two years of experience recruiting and managing volunteers; and ability to manage administrative staff and student workers. You should be a persuasive oral and written communicator with strong leadership qualities with absolute discretion in handling and maintenance of confidential donor files.
