Roberts Wesleyan College / Northeastern Seminary — Executive Director, Adult and Graduate Enrollment

The Vice President for Enrollment Management seeks a full-time Executive Director with a collaborative nature and proven record of accomplishment in admissions best practices. The ED will report directly to the Vice President of Enrollment Management, works cross-functionally with the Academic Cabinet, Associate Vice President of Online Education and is a member of the Enrollment Leadership Team. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Recruiting, Marketing and Admissions Strategy and Execution
  • Work with Program Directors and recruiting team to establish goals.
  • Assume responsibility for meeting enrollment goals.
  • Develop and implement a best practice and data-informed recruitment plan for each program and AGE overall for meeting established goals.
  • Provide weekly, monthly and annual reporting on progress toward key initiatives as well as standard admissions KPIs including progress toward goals.

2. Team Leadership

  • Lead a team of 10-12 recruiting and admissions staff to develop and sustain a high level of team performance.
  • Hire, train, supervise and motivate team members.
  • Ensure resources (human and other) align with goals, market demands and best practices.

3. Collaboration:

  • Partner with Enrollment Leadership Team including Student Financial Services, Undergraduate Admissions, Student Success Athletics, Seminary Enrollment and Brand and Marketing to meet the College’s enrollment and revenue goals.
  • Collaborate with the Academic Cabinet and as a member of the Program Development Committee to evaluate and launch new programs, evaluate existing programs, and address opportunities in various graduate and degree-completion programs.
  • Through partnership with Program Directors, establish enrollment goals, tuition and discounting policies, and administers best practices for enrollment of adult and graduate students.
  • Provide strategic and projection input for enrollment drivers in AGE tuition revenue budget, meeting monthly with partners in Finance Office to evaluate revenue inputs including headcount, credits, discounting, attrition and graduation.

4. Partnerships:

  • Evaluate and maintain established Corporate Partnerships
  • Facilitate the onboarding of new strategic Corporate Partners.
  • Create and implement new strategies to maximize Corporate Partnership to drive new enrollment
  • Work closely with undergraduate programs to facilitate the success of advanced standing, early and priority admission programs and other offerings to allow for continual and preferred enrollment from one degree to the next.

The successful candidate will have a Master’s degree and 3-5 years of enrollment management or admissions leadership experience, and 10 years of job-related experience. Strong relationship-building, coaching, and communication skills. Adept in reporting, presentation skills, Google Suite, and excel data analysis. Must also have results-oriented experience in enrollment, management and marketing along with general experience in higher education. An equivalent combination of education and experience may qualify. Additionally, a successful candidate will be able to demonstrate cultural competence and must value the principles of diversity and equity.
