Cleveland State University — Assistant College Lecturer of Property Management – Ahuja College of Business

Department: Management.
Position: Full-time, Assistant College Lecturer of Property Management.  This position is not a tenure track line.
Start Date: August 22, 2022.

Duties:  Teach 24 credit hours (onsite, off-site, and online) in the Department of Management per academic year at the Undergraduate and/or Graduate levels; participate in department and college service activities.

Minimum Qualifications:  Master’s degree in a closely related field to Business or Property Management; field experience in Property Management; effective communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications: Terminal degree in a closely related field to Property Management; experience with a variety of teaching methods and curricular perspectives; prior experience teaching Property Management; ability to teach in multiple areas of Management such as Human Resources Management, Organizational Behavior, and Sport Management; at least five years of field experience in Property Management; the ability to contribute through teaching and/or service to the diversity, cultural sensitivity, and excellence of the academic community.

Department/College: The MGT department employs 13 full-time faculty and offers coursework at the bachelor, master, and doctoral levels.  Our department is housed within the Monte Ahuja College of Business.  The college employs 70 full-time faculty members. All programs are AACSB accredited at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. Enrollment exceeds 2,700 students, and the degrees we offer include DBA, MIS, MBA, MLRHR, MAcc, BA, BBA, and a joint MBA-JD.

Salary: Salary and benefits are competitive with comparable “clinical” instructor positions, but also commensurate with qualifications. Hiring is contingent upon maintaining existing levels of state funding.
