Position Summary:
This is a full-time faculty position in the Economics discipline within the Social Sciences department at Chemeketa Community College. In addition to teaching Economics courses, the full-time faculty position serves as the academic leader of Economics curriculum and is involved in program leadership, part time faculty guidance, curriculum development, college committee and service work, and leadership with transfer and guided pathways work. The position continually embraces diversity and culturally responsive pedagogy.

The Community We Serve
Chemeketa Community College is the third largest post-secondary institution in Oregon, with approximately 29,000 students enrolled from a diversity of backgrounds. Salary: $58,851.00 – $93,690.00 Annually Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree in Economics from an accredited institution


Experience teaching in a variety of modalities including face-to-face, remote, hybrid, and/or online


Experience working with diverse communities
