The Morgridge Institute for Research — Investigator

The Morgridge Institute for Research, part of the dynamic research community at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, seeks an accomplished researcher to join its team of investigators. We invite applications from creative and collaborative scientists making important contributions to fundamental issues in developmental/regenerative biology. Individuals whose research program will complement our active, interdisciplinary research community and whose interests span several thematic areas (e.g., Regenerative Biology, Metabolism, and Biomedical Imaging), are particularly encouraged to apply.

This is an extraordinary opportunity for individuals with a proven track record of high-quality, innovative research. We seek colleagues who are enthusiastic about mentoring young scientists and engaging the public about the importance of research. We encourage applications from individuals who are committed to strengthening a collaborative environment that advances the Institute’s mission and to building a more equitable and diverse scholarly environment. The successful candidate will also be appointed to a tenure-track or tenured position in an appropriate University of Wisconsin-Madison department, and receive an attractive salary and benefits package, plus generous start-up support.

The Morgridge Institute for Research is a private, non-profit, basic science research institute affiliated with the University of Wisconsin-Madison. We serve as a collaborative hub for investigators across UW-Madison to work together on fundamental biomedical questions, and as such offer an extraordinary interdisciplinary work environment that capitalizes on the community and resources of both the Morgridge Institute and the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
