D'Youville invites nominations for, and inquiries and applications from, individuals interested in taking on a transformational leadership opportunity as the Dean of the School of Arts, Sciences and Education (SASE). The new Dean is charged with reinvigorating the School and collaborating across the institution on strategic priorities. The School is currently comprised of Biology and Mathematics; Business; Chemistry; Humanities and Social Sciences, as well as a transformative Doctor of Educational Leadership (Ed.D.) program. The new Dean will start in early January 2022 and report to the new Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Natalia Blank.

D'Youville is a highly regarded private, coeducational institution on the vibrant West Side of Buffalo, NY, adjacent to a growing downtown and year-round cultural and outdoor recreation. Under the leadership of President Clemo, the university is moving boldly forward with dynamic and integrated initiatives to strengthen the institution and positively impact the student experience and surrounding community.

The School of Arts, Sciences, and Education delivers the critical foundation for undergraduate education at D'Youville, producing nearly 60% of the College's total undergraduate credits in the social sciences, humanities, mathematics, business, and basic sciences. The School offers 22 degree programs, with several new programs in the pipeline, and is charged with building the foundation of knowledge for students to develop into critical thinkers, responsible citizens, dynamic leaders, and compassionate human beings.
