Western University of Health Sciences — Physician Assistant Faculty Position

The Department of Physician Assistant Education at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California invites applications from individuals interested in joining our dynamic and growing faculty for a full-time 12-month tenure option-track faculty position at the Instructor, Assistant, or Associate level. Faculty responsibilities include teaching, scholarship / research, advising PA students, and service. Participation in professional activities is encouraged and supported. Specific assignments are dependent upon program needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts Degree.
  • Current NCCPA certification.
  • Licensure or eligibility for licensure in California.

Preference will be given to a candidate with one or more of the following:

  • Those who have earned a master’s degree or doctorate degree. Consideration will be given to those
    currently enrolled in a master’s degree program or doctorate program.
  • Evidence of teaching effectiveness and/or curriculum development experience at Community
    College Level or higher
  • At least two years of current clinical work experience

Salary and rank will be based upon documented relevant experience and qualifications.
