Job Description	

​• Serve as the university expert in transfer and credit for prior learning policy and procedure.

• Serve as the state transfer specialist, ensuring MSUM is compliant with all state statutes and

• Serve as the registrar's lead in the transfer center.

• Keep up to date on system transfer procedures.

• Serve as university expert in the transfer tools TES and Transferology and further
develop the tools to serve students, faculty and staff.

• Work to resolve transfer barriers and propose solutions to improve transfer.

• Develop articulation agreements with two-year institutions by bringing together stake-holders from two-year and MSUM in collaboration with academic deans and faculty.

• Serve as the university expert on articulation.

• Serve as the registrar's liaison concerning credit for prior leaning and continuing studies.

• Work to develop policies and procedures in both areas compliant with federal and state statutes and guidelines. Lead the registrar's portion of this work​

Required Qualifications	

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Two years professional experience in higher education or an equivalent field.

MSUM enrolls over 5,000 students from 36 states and 61 countries. Nine Month Faculty Appointments

Along with all other Universities that are part of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities System, standard faculty appointments are for 168 duty days distributed over any nine consecutive months. The nine months need not align with the traditional academic year and may be changed every two years. Initial faculty appointments at MSU Moorhead are expected to be similar to or the same as the academic year unless otherwise indicated on the vacancy notice.
