Bryn Mawr College — Director of Field Education

Bryn Mawr College has an opening for a Director of Field Education in our Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research.


Reporting to the Dean of the Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research (GSSWSR), the Director of Field Education is responsible for administrative oversight to the Office of Field Education (OFE) and participates in the overall design, implementation and assessment of the Field Education component of the social work curriculum.

Specific responsibilities will include maintaining data, hiring and supervising Field Education Liaisons, reviewing, editing and updating agency affiliation agreements, recruit and evaluate new agencies for field placements, update and implement field policies, program monitoring, program evaluation, assess field sites, convene field advisory board meetings.

Requirements include a master’s degree in social work or social sciences. PA state social work licensure preferred, 2.5+ years’ experience with Field Education.  Knowledge of CSWE Accreditation Standards and CSWE processes.
