As part of the Division of University Marketing and Communications, the Marketing Communications Coordinator is a member of a creative team that collaborates closely to support the marketing needs of the Division of Enrollment Management. Through the EM Marketing team, this position is actively involved in work that promotes the university to prospective undergraduate students, including but not limited to high school students, transfer students, UD Sinclair Academy students, international students, veterans and military-connected students, parents and high school counselors.Reporting to the Executive Director of Enrollment Management Marketing and Communications, this position manages digital and print projects from concept to distribution, coordinating production and ensuring projects are delivered as promised in terms of content, time and budget.

Responsibilities include managing projects, coordinating production, managing communication calendars and ensuring they align with strategy, coordinating work of student employees and freelancers, collaborating with University Marketing and Enrollment Management team members and providing quality reviews and assisting with written marketing copy, as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Demonstrated experience in project management
  • Effective written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to follow through and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Ability to manage details – be attentive, accurate and thorough

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in marketing or related field
  • Commitment to delivering the highest level of customer service
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to quickly establish rapport with others
  • Demonstrated collaboration
  • Enthusiastic and confident communicator
  • Experience using project management software
  • Experience with brand and marketing strategy, digital and interactive projects, or traditional marketing communications
