Union College — Tenure-track Position, Department of Chemistry

Union College invites applications for a tenure-track position in the Department of Chemistry beginning in Fall 2022 (pending final administrative approval). Candidates are expected to contribute to interdisciplinary programs, particularly in nanoscience and/or environmental science and engineering. The College has an exceptional suite of advanced instrumentation to support research endeavors in these areas. The candidate will have teaching responsibilities in general chemistry courses and mid- and upper-level courses in their subdiscipline. It is anticipated that the successful hire will establish and maintain a high-quality research program that involves undergraduate students and strengthens the synergy between the Department of Chemistry and other science and engineering departments. A Ph.D. in chemistry or a closely related discipline and postdoctoral experience is required.
