The Division of Renal-Electrolyte and Hypertension in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Associate or Full Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of care of patients with glomerular disease. Experience conducting clinical trials is preferred. Applicants must have an M.D. degree. Board certification in Nephrology is required.

Teaching responsibilities may include teaching Penn medical student, residents and fellows.

Clinical responsibilities may include care for patients in both inpatient and outpatient services at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

The academic clinician track requires 100 credits of active and high quality teaching responsibilities. There will be an expectation of the ability of the candidate to provide management and/or leadership. Rank will be commensurate with experience.
