The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure clinician educator track.

Teaching responsibilities may include participation in small group workshops and providing clinical education to medical students, medical residents, and cardiology fellows.

Clinical responsibilities may include caring for patients with heart failure and those requiring ventricular assist devices and cardiac transplantation. In addition, he or she may be required to care for patients with inherited cardiomyopathies in the outpatient clinic.

Research or scholarship responsibilities may include involvement in basic laboratory research and clinical research.

Applicants must have an M.D. degree. Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Diseases is required.

Evidence of scholarship is required in the clinician-educator track.
