The salary range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

  1. Demonstrate an active and consistent commitment to the mission of Rocky Vista University and its College of Osteopathic Medicine
  2. Develop and maintain positive relationships with faculty, staff, and students in Utah and Colorado, in conjunction with the Assistant Dean of Preclinical Curriculum
  3. Manage and execute the assessment vision, needs, and plan for the preclinical domain, while working with the Department of Institutional Effectiveness, course directors, faculty and students
  4. Help develop the policies and procedures for the preclinical education of RVUCOM students as it relates to student, faculty, and curricular outcomes
  5. Work with faculty and administration to implement the integration of clinical knowledge and skills, biomedical sciences and osteopathic principles, and practices throughout the pre-doctoral education to advance RVUCOM students’ professionalism, knowledge, skills and competencies to the level required for osteopathic graduate medical education
  6. Help develop and coordinate programs and resources to assist and promote faculty development by working with the Director of Faculty Development and the associated committee
  7. Assist in the evaluation of need-based purchases for the preclinical education department including faculty development, support for educational and audiovisual resources, travel, teaching and research resources, and any other related products
  8. Assure the advancement and integration of high standards for ethical and professional behavior in all aspects for RVUCOM faculty, staff, and students
  9. Participate in institutional and COM service as designated by the Dean
  10. Other duties as assigned by the Dean


  1. Assist the Faculty and Administrators with special project assignments
  2. Promote a high reputation of RVU and its COM campuses
  3. Participate in media and public relations activities to further the mission of RVUCOM
