Mall Family Endowed Professor / Associate Professor for Autism Research

The Michigan State University College of Human Medicine Department of Pediatrics and Human Development seeks a full-time tenure track investigator at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor. This position will be supported by the Mall Family Endowed Professorship for Genetic Autism Research, and is open to candidates whose research programs are focused on the study of the genetics of autism. Candidates with demonstrated histories of employing advanced research technologies, such as CRISPR, are preferred. In addition to overseeing their own research program, The Mall Family Professor will take on a leadership role in an outstanding, interdisciplinary, and nationally prominent pediatric autism and developmental neuroscience research program incorporating investigators at Michigan State University’s East Lansing and Grand Rapids campuses.

Candidates must hold a doctoral degree (MD, DO, and/or PhD), must be eligible for appointment as an Associate Professor or Professor in Michigan State University’s tenure system, and must present a developed research program and demonstrate a strong record of securing extramural funding.
