Bryn Mawr College — Assistant Director of the Postbaccalaureate Premedical Program

Bryn Mawr College seeks an Assistant Director of the Postbaccalaureate Premedical Program who will contribute to the overall functioning of the Postbac Program and the success of it’s students from the beginning of the admissions process, through their time at Bryn Mawr, to their matriculation at medical school.  The AD will manage the initial screening of applications, advises postbacs, is the postbac alumni liaison, develops and facilitates workshops.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years’ of work experience in higher education. A bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced degree is preferred.  Candidates should have exceptional writing, organizational, and interpersonal skills, a commitment to enhancing diversity and an eagerness to learn.  Admissions experience along with some knowledge of healthcare, medical school curriculum and culture is preferred.

Bryn Mawr College is an institution of higher education offering a four-year, educational experience to approximately 1,400 students. Bryn Mawr was the first women’s college to offer graduate education through the Ph.D., and the College continues its support of master and doctoral programs through its Graduate School of Arts and Sciences and its Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research.
