Job Description:
The Department of Professional Education Programs of The Esteves School of Education at Russell Sage College invites applications for a full-time, professor of practice faculty (non-tenure track) position at the rank of Assistant Professor of Education, Professional School Counseling, effective for Academic Year 2021/2022.

The successful candidate will have significant experience as a licensed K-12 school counselor. Within the Boyer Model of scholarship, the candidate will be responsible for teaching graduate courses in professional school counseling (21 credits per academic year), advising program majors, and partnering with key stakeholders for recruitment and retention endeavors. In lieu of a terminal degree, applicants with significant and meaningful professional experience may be considered.

In addition to the minimum requirements, the preferred candidate will have an earned terminal degree in professional school counseling or related area (ABD may be considered based on degree completion timeline); experience teaching in higher education; with accreditation, program development and leadership
