University of Wisconsin-Madison — Center for Health Disparities Research Specialist

The Center for Health Disparities Research (CHDR) program led by Dr. Amy Kind is hiring several Research Specialists. CHDR focuses on understanding and eliminating health disparities and improving outcomes for vulnerable populations. We conduct multidisciplinary projects in clinical/health systems interventions, medical and public records assessment, and claims data analysis. Successful candidates will support the Center in all aspects of research and will be part of a growing, creative, dynamic team.

We are seeking several highly motivated individuals to join our team in furthering our research activities. We value diversity and respect the many differences and similarities in the workplace, including the varied perspectives, approaches, and competencies of coworkers and populations that we serve. We feel that these diverse perspectives strengthen our team and its impact.

The School of Medicine and Public Health and its new Center for Health Disparities Research (CHDR) have a deep and profound commitment to diversity as a valuable means for eliminating health disparities. To this end, we strongly encourage applications from candidates who foster and promote the values of diversity and inclusion. We further enthusiastically encourage BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) to apply for these open positions.
