Job Summary:The School of Physical Therapy in the Rueckert-Hartman College for Health Professions at Regis University seeks applicants for a 9-month faculty appointment in the Health & Exercise Science Program.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Qualified candidates will have an academic doctoral degree as well as evidence of collegiate teaching, evidence of scholarly development and dissemination, and be able to demonstrate a commitment to inclusive practices in teaching, scholarship, and service. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in any of the following areas: health and exercise science, human anatomy and physiology, movement science, or biomechanics. The ideal candidate will also show a commitment to community health and wellness and an interest in expanding internship opportunities for students.

Our Bachelor of Science in Health and Exercise Science (HES) combines the following principles to optimize physical, mental, and social wellbeing: behavioral health, biomechanics, exercise physiology, motor behavior, nutrition, and health psychology. The HES degree lays the foundation for careers in health professions including occupational therapy, physical therapy, personal training, strength and conditioning, public health, and community health.

The School of Physical Therapy also offers an entry-level Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree, a fellowship program in orthopaedic manual physical therapy, an orthopaedic residency, and a joint venture Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) program with Creighton University.
