Duties and Responsibilities:
The Program Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the program's educational goals and objectives, as well as its compliance and accreditation. The Coordinator is also responsible for the development and supervision of both full-time and part-time faculty along with program evaluations, faculty and student performance, assessment, advising, budgeting, and reporting as necessary, along with other duties.

This is a 12-month defined term contract, faculty position. Salary is commensurate with experience.

Job Requirements:
• MSN or higher from an accredited college or university
• A minimum of five (5) years nursing experience within the immediate past ten (10) years
• Demonstrated leadership experience in nursing
• A minimum of two (2) years of full-time teaching experience at or above the ADN level
• An unencumbered current license as an RN in Kentucky

Located in the breathtaking Appalachian Mountains, Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College seeks a Coordinator of Nursing who will take our competitive program to the next level. A pioneering spirit and an inspirational leadership style are a must. The Coordinator will lead the College's agile and evolving culture that puts students first and strives to empower them to become confident, well-educated, and highly-skilled nursing professionals in today's demanding environment.

The Program Coordinator is directly responsible for overseeing all aspects of the associate degree nursing program for the College. With nursing instruction on both the Cumberland and Middlesboro campuses, the program has an enrollment capacity of 160. Both facilities have labs that are fully equipped, including state-of-the-art simulators.

Southeast first opened its doors in 1960 with its original campus located in Cumberland, Kentucky. Since then, the College has grown to include campuses in Harlan, Middlesboro, Pineville, and Whitesburg—all in the heart of the beautiful Appalachian Mountains. Multiple campuses enable the College to serve a six-county area, including counties in Tennessee and Virginia. Construction is underway for a sixth campus located in Knox County.

All campuses enjoy proximity to hiking trails, stunning natural scenery, local wildlife, and numerous outdoor recreational activities. The Cumberland Gap National Historical Park as well as several state parks are nearby. Residents throughout the region enjoy an unusually affordable cost of living.
