Nicole Ausmer to Receive the Outstanding Achievement in Diversity Award

Nicole Ausmer, director of Student Activities and Leadership Development at the University of Cincinnati, received the Outstanding Achievement in Diversity Award from the National Association of Campus Activities. The award is presented to individuals that positively contribute to the development of programs and services promoting cultural diversity, understanding, and awareness.

“I am grateful to work in a space that allows innovation around social change, space for students to find their voices and room for staff members to grown and develop,” says Dr. Ausmer. “Diversity, equity, and inculsion work belongs to all of us.”

Dr. Ausmer has been on the staff at the Univerity of Cincinnati since 2010 and has served in her present position since 2015. Earlier, she was an instructor in human diversity at Cincinnati State College.

Dr. Ausmer holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology, a master’s degree in education, and a Ph.D. in higher education, all from the University of Cincinnati.
