The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of Adult Cardiovascular Diseases and Adult Heart Disease (ACHD). Applicants must have an M.D. degree. Board certification or Board eligible is required in adult cardiovascular diseases and adult heart disease (ACHD).

Teaching responsibilities may include participation in the didactic lectures or workshops of cardiovascular block of Curriculum 2000 and teaching medical students, medical residents and cardiology fellows.

Clinical responsibilities may include caring for patients with adult congenital heart disease in the Heart and Vascular Center and attending on the inpatient service and/or CCU Service.

The successful candidate will be an outstanding clinician who excels in caring for ACHD patients in a multidisciplinary program that includes faculty members in the Departments of Medicine, Pediatrics, and Surgery at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP) and Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). The academic clinician track requires 100 credits of active and high quality teaching responsibilities.
