The Edwards College of Humanities and Fine Arts at Coastal Carolina University seeks to recruit and retain a diverse community of scholars whose research, teaching, and community engagement focus on the culture, history, and artistic expression of the African Diaspora Community in the United States. We seek teacher-scholars who will serve as mentors for our diverse student body and who have a demonstrated commitment to underrepresented and underserved communities as well as the academic success of all our students. Priority for this position will be given to applicants who can contribute teaching, curriculum development, and research in the areas of competency listed above.
