Coastal Carolina University — Registration Coordinator

Coastal Carolina University seeks applications for the position of Registration Coordinator in the Office of the Registrar. 

The Registration Coordinator is a full-time, salaried position that is responsible for coordinating with academic departments and the curriculum management team to ensure timely and accurate development of the university’s master schedule. Additional duties include support to students and staff during the registration process and managing academic facility space. 

Duties include, but are not limited to: ensure the accuracy and integrity of all course offerings within the student information system; coordinate with all academic departments to receive course offerings; update course information in the student information system as necessary; receive and process course contracts; provide administrative support to the Assistant Registrar; assist in all software upgrades/implementations; audit class meeting times; oversee academic space utilization; process registration activities; assist staff at reception area with customer questions and telephone inquiries; produce, design, and distribute adhoc and registration related reports; and performing other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications: A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) and work experience in collecting, scheduling, processing and reporting information in a data processing environment is required. A post-secondary degree and experience working in customer service, student records or a related field is preferred. Experience working within higher education is preferred.
