Tenure-Track Assistant Professor Position
The University of Pennsylvania's School of Social Policy & Practice (SP2) invites applications for a tenure track assistant professor position that will begin July 1, 2021.
This is an open position, and we welcome candidates from different disciplines whose research and scholarship relate to our three main areas of interest: Social Work, Nonprofit Leadership, and Social Policy. We offer three master's degrees: Social Work (MSW), Nonprofit Leadership (MS), Social Policy (MS), as well as a doctorate in Social Work (DSW) and a Ph.D. in Social Welfare. Advancing social justice is a core component of the School's vision and mission.
For Social Work, we seek scholars who combine practice experience with strong records of scholarship in areas of clinical practice with marginalized communities. Candidates for the MSW faculty position must possess a doctorate, an MSW and at least two years of post-MSW practice experience.
For Nonprofit Leadership and Social Policy, we encourage applications from scholars who have a PhD and who have strong quantitative skills and are able to teach across at least two programs of our three areas of interest.
Many opportunities for collaboration exist within the Penn academic community and with health, educational, social service, nonprofit, and government organizations regionally, nationally, and globally.
