New University Administrative Positions for Three African Americans

Micah Griffin has been named senior director of University Health Services at Pennsylvania State University. He has been serving as the director of health programs at the City University of New York’s Kingsborough Community College. Earlier, Dr. Griffin was director of Student Health and Counseling Services at Alabama A&M University.

Dr. Griffin received his bachelor’s degree in biology from Livingstone College in Salisbury, North Carolina. He holds a master’s degree in exercise science from Life University in Marietta, Georgia, and a master’s degree in health care administration and a doctorate in health services/community health from Walden University.

Nontalie Morrow has been named associate director of faculty and staff initiatives in the Office of Institutional Diversity at the University of Georgia. During her time as a graduate student, Dr. Morrow worked as a staff member in student affairs and in diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Dr. Morrow is a graduate of Valdosta State University in Georgia, where she majored in psychology. She holds a master’s degree in education from the University of Kansas and a Ph.D. in higher education from Pennsylvania State University.

Keith Miles was appointed director of the Office of Communication at Florida A&M University. He has served in the post on an interim basis for nearly a year. A former general manager of WANM 90.5 Radio, Miles managed internal communications for the Office of Communications prior to his appointment as interim director. He is a former assistant athletic director at the university.

Miles is a graduate of Florida A&M University, where he majored in journalism.

Quenon Endowed Chair, and vice provost for graduate education at Missouri University of Science and Technology.
