University of Pennsylvania — Assistant Professor, AC Track, Division of Adolescent Medicine

The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Adolescent Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of Adolescent Medicine.

Teaching responsibilities may include participation in high quality clinical education of medical students, residents and fellows as a member of the Craig-Dalsimer Division of Adolescent Medicine.

Clinical responsibilities may include inpatient and outpatient primary and specialty care in Adolescent Medicine at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Multiple sites of practice are available including a primary care practice, specialty care satellite locations and inpatient units at CHOP and a behavioral health hospital.

Applicants must have an M.D. degree. Board certified/eligible in Adolescent Medicine.

Multiple opportunities for collaborative clinical participation is available in the areas of quality improvement, health services, minority health, resiliency, STDs/HIV, pregnancy prevention, smoking, gender, eating disorders, obesity, depression and suicide. Leadership positions in these clinical areas may also be available.
