University of Pennsylvania — Associate Professor, Academic Clinician, Pediatric Rheumatology

The Division of Rheumatology in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Associate Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. Board Certified / eligible in Pediatric Rheumatology.

Teaching responsibilities may include providing teaching to medical students, pediatric residents and pediatric rheumatology fellows. Excellence in teaching is required, including curriculum development or innovative teaching materials, and mentoring of junior faculty is also expected.

Clinical responsibilities may include inpatient and outpatient service in general Pediatric Rheumatology. The candidate will be expected to assume responsibility for the role of Clinic Director of the Amplified Pain Service.

Candidates must show evidence of continued excellence in clinical practice, such as innovative accomplishments in delivery of care, clinical productivity, quality improvement initiatives, and must have an identifiable area(s) of special expertise.
