Under the direction of the Associate Dean, the Director of Digital Learning and Information Technology ensures all technology-related functions are in alignment with the mission and business objectives of the college and the university. The Director plans, implements, and sustains a comprehensive information and technology environment supporting both the short and long term goals of the college’s academic, administrative and online technology needs, and, especially, the integration of technology into the teaching and learning process. The Director provides managerial direction for planning, goal setting, implementation, coordination, evaluation, and accountability for all areas of information and technology services. The Director coordinates the technology activities of the college with the Information Resources & Technology division to align policy, priority-setting, and integration, and support. The Director provides direct oversight for all the college’s educational and administrative information technology services, providing liaison as needed with other campus-wide IT services. Further, the Director trains, coordinates and assigns work, supervises performance and evaluates assigned staff to ensure the achievement of operational objectives across information technology functions.
