University of Washington Bothell — Assistant Professor in Accounting

The School of Business at the University of Washington Bothell invites applications for a full-time, 9-month, tenure-track opening at the rank of Assistant Professor in Accounting. The appointment will become effective in September of 2020.

Duties include teaching and developing and maintaining an active research program. The candidate will teach both graduate and undergraduate courses. All University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research, and service.

The University of Washington Bothell campus was established in 1990 as a campus within the University of Washington system. We are located 15 miles northeast of downtown Seattle. We work closely with industry leaders as well as the smaller, innovative, and rapidly growing companies in software, electronic commerce, medical equipment, biotechnology, electronics, and aerospace. Our students work in companies such as Microsoft, Boeing, Expedia, ICOS, Amgen and Phillips. We also have a facility, the Eastside Leadership Center in Bellevue, WA, that currently serves our undergraduate and graduate students. All faculty members in the School of Business should expect to teach at both Bothell and Bellevue locations. Although our undergraduate program is currently located at the Bothell Campus, our MS Accounting Program is offered exclusively at the Bellevue campus in the evening.

Qualifications
A doctorate (or foreign equivalent) in Accounting (or a closely related field) is required.
