Pamela Bracey Is Named Collegiate Teacher of the Year in Business Education

Pamela Bracey, an associate professor in the department of instructional systems and workforce development in the College of Education at Mississippi State University, was named Collegiate Teacher of the Year by the National Business Education Association.

The National Business Education Association is the nation’s leading professional organization serving individuals and groups engaged in instruction, administration, research and dissemination of information for and about business. Only one scholar in the nation is given the honor of being named Collegiate Teacher of the Year.

“This award is the highest honor I could possibly attain in my current role as a business technology educator, and to earn it at such an early state of my career is honestly breathtaking, humbling, yet extremely rewarding,” Dr. Bracey said.

Dr. Bracey joined the faculty at Mississippi State in 2013. She is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, where she majored in business technology education. Dr. Bracey holds a master’s degree in higher education administration from Mississippi College and a doctorate in applied technology and performance improvement from the University of North Texas.
