Coastal Carolina University — Visiting Assistant Professor-MSCI (Faculty)

The School of the Coastal Environment (SCE) at Coastal Carolina University invites applications for two Visiting Assistant Professor positions for the spring 2020 academic term, with the potential of renewal for an additional 1 or 2 academic years. Faculty in the SCE educate a large and vibrant student body pursuing undergraduate and graduate degrees in marine science. Teaching responsibilities may include quantitative introductory interdisciplinary marine science/oceanography, upper level ecosystems ecology/dynamics course(s), and a graduate level scientific communication course focused on peer-review publication preparation and grantsmanship are encouraged to apply.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. in marine science or related field by January 2020. Previous teaching and post-doctoral experience are preferred.
