University of Pennsylvania — Pulmonary and Critical Care Academic Clinician – Junior rank

The Division of Pulmonary, Allergy and Critical Care in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of pulmonary and critical care with an emphasis on critical care medicine and delivery of critical care services to oncology patients across our integrated health system. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree. Board certification in Pulmonary, Allergy and Critical Care is required.  Teaching responsibilities may include teaching pulmonary and critical care fellows, residents and medical students. Clinical responsibilities may include working with advanced practice providers and/or trainees. Selected candidates may also be required to consult and diagnosis ongoing treatment of critically ill patients as an attending on the inpatient medical critical care services.  The academic clinician track requires 100 credits per year of active and high quality teaching responsibilities.
