Position Description
The Division of Renal-Electrolyte and Hypertension in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of clinical nephrology, and supervision of outpatient dialysis services will also be required. Applicants must have an M.D. degree. ABIM board certified or board eligible in Nephrology is required.

Teaching responsibilities may include teaching Penn medical students, residents and fellows. The academic clinician track requires 100 credits per year of active and high quality teaching responsibilities. Applicants should be outstanding educators who excel in this area.

Clinical responsibilities may include caring for patients on both inpatient and outpatient services at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.
