University of Pennsylvania — Assistant Professor, Clinician Educator Track – ASD Screening and Diagnosis – CHOP

Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Expertise is required in the specific area of early screening and diagnostic methods in autism spectrum disorder (ASD), early parent-mediated treatments for ASD, clinical informatics in ASD, particularly within large healthcare systems, longitudinal methodology and statistics (including structural equation modeling and hierarchical linear modeling). Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree. Licensed to practice Psychology within the state of PA.

Teaching responsibilities may include training clinicians in autism diagnostic methods, including ADOS-2, teaching pediatric and psychiatry residents, psychology fellows, graduate students, interns and postdocs, clinical supervision for psychology trainees.

Clinical responsibilities may include Autism diagnostic assessments.

Research or scholarship responsibilities may include collaborative and investigator-led research in early detection of ASD, ASD treatments, and research involving clinical informatics.
