The Department of Clothing, Textiles & Interior Design in the College of Human Environmental Sciences at The University of Alabama is seeking candidates for a position at the rank of assistant or associate professor in the department of Interior Design.   UA’s interior design program is CIDA and NASAD accredited and appears in the employment rankings for Design Intelligence.  The successful candidate of this position will find support for research as well as a curriculum dedicated to design education

A terminal degree in interior design or a closely related field is required as in experience in teaching studio.  Proficiently required in AutoCAD, Photoshop, and Revit as well as knowledge in sustainable design and environmental well-being.  This position is a tenure track position.
