Rockhurst University — Assistant Professor of English

The Department of English in the College of Arts and Sciences at Rockhurst University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor with an emphasis in technical and professional writing. Preference will be given to candidates who have a robust secondary focus in rhetoric and composition, business writing, writing for the sciences, or linguistics. Experience with online education and technical writing curriculum development is strongly preferred. ABD considered. PhD required at the time of appointment.

Teaching load is 3/3. Service expectations include serving on university committees, advising students, and directing senior thesis projects. Position begins August 2020.
