Coastal Carolina University — Correspondence Specialist in Admissions & Merit Awards

Coastal Carolina University is accepting applications for the following position: Correspondence Specialist (Operations Assistant II) in Admissions & Merit Awards.

Duties include, but are not limited to: printing daily admissions letters (more than 300K personalized letters per year), ensuring all correspondence is accurate, setting up communication tracks in Colleague, coordinating mailings and production of more than 9K acceptance packages annually, processing enrollment deposits, and assisting applicants with passwords and general requests.

Requirements: High school diploma and three (3) years of related office experience in managing student/client records are required. Extensive experience with Microsoft Word mail merge processes and Colleague communication tracks is preferred. A successful candidate must be knowledgeable of college admissions process and various software applications; possess the ability to communicate effectively with various university constituents and possess excellent written communication and organizational skills; the ability to interface between various web applications and student information system; must be skilled in managing and controlling a large number of letters; must be knowledgeable about large mailings and postal regulations; possess excellent time management, organizational, and problem solving skills, and the ability to multi-task in a high volume work environment.
