University of Pennsylvania — Associate or Full Professor (Tenure or Clinician Educator Track), Adolescent Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences – CHOP

Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Associate or Full Professor position in either the non-tenure clinician educator track or the tenure track. Applicants must have an M.D. and/or Ph.D degree.  This position is within the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

Teaching responsibilities may include teaching and mentoring students, trainees, residents, and interns.

Clinical responsibilities may include work on clinical trials, outpatient clinics, inpatient coverage, and practice at various locations.

Research or scholarship responsibilities may include leading independent and collaborative human subjects research within pediatric mental health, involving synergistic interactions with other clinical and preclinical neurodevelopment scientists at CHOP and the University of Pennsylvania. We have a particular interest in candidates who conduct research in pediatric mood and anxiety disorders, and the successful applicant will be considered for an endowed chair. Applicants must have a track record of externally funded research.
