Enrollment Services Specialist 3

Advise, counsel and provide information to prospective and current students on University programs and processes, eligibility requirements for admission and/or financial aid. Respond to direct requests from individual applicants, parents, and counselors via phone and email. Make presentations and conduct group information sessions. Represent the University during special programs, recruitment trips, campus visits, and/or financial aid events, including extensive travel to regional and out of state events. Build and maintain relationships with external partners and University stakeholders. Work with other colleges/campuses to produce effective communication plans and consistent institutional messages. Create, organize, manage and provide leadership for campus visitation programs with Admissions staff, academic colleges and other academic departments. Analyze results, initiate changes and monitor visit program budgets. Evaluate credentials of students' applications for admission and/or financial aid per existing policies and criteria. Review student records/credentials to determine whether exceptions to policies can be made and apply professional judgment, subject to audit review, in making such exceptions. Prepare and present reports and analyses of enrollment and/or financial aid trends. May supervise and train assigned staff. Responsible for providing in-take services (taking student/parent phone calls, responding to e-mail, assisting visitors to the office). Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher plus one year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid driver's license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.
