University of Pennsylvania — Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine

The Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of treatment of patients with Endocrine disorders. Expertise and proficiency in the management of patients with obesity disorders is preferred. Candidates with an interest in the medical management of obesity are encouraged to apply. Applicants must have an M.D. degree. Board certified or board eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism is required.

Teaching responsibilities may include conducting clinical and education activities. Selected candidates will have the opportunity to teach in the endocrine fellowship and internal medicine residency programs in the Perelman School of Medicine.

Clinical responsibilities may include providing clinical care for patients with general Endocrine disorders including managing patients with obesity. The new physician will be an integral member of the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism.

Selected candidates will have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education and clinical care.
