University of Pennsylvania — AC Faculty Position in Non-Malignant Hematology – Senior ranks

The Division of Hematology-Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Associate or Full Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of non-malignant hematology. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree. Board certification in hematology is required.

Teaching responsibilities may include teaching medical students, medical residents and fellows.

Clinical responsibilities may include patient care in the area of non-malignant hematology, including care of patients with sickle cell disease, disorders of hemostasis and thrombosis, and general benign hematologic conditions.

Candidates should have excellent teaching and clinical skills. The academic clinician track requires 100 credits of active and high quality teaching responsibilities. There will be an expectation of the ability of the candidate to provide management and/or leadership. Rank will be commensurate with experience.
