The Division of Educational Leadership and Innovation within the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College (MLFTC) at Arizona State University (ASU) invites applicants for this tenure-track position. The College seeks a scholar who has expertise in quantitative methodology with the goal of promoting the joint agenda of positively impacting PreK-16 educational research and methodology. This faculty position will bring together the knowledge and expertise of research design, statistics, and education. 

The responsibilities of the position include: 1) conducting quantitative educational research; (2) teaching graduate classes in quantitative methods and applied statistics; (3) mentoring masters and doctoral-level students; 4) developing grant proposals for external funding; and 5) providing service to the institution, profession and community. This position in the MS degree offered in Educational Sciences at Arizona State University. 

Required Qualifications: 

  • Earned doctorate from an accredited university by the time of appointment in quantitative methods, applied statistics, or closely related field 
  • Evidence of a coherent scholarly agenda 
  • Evidence of the ability to conduct and publish peer-reviewed research 
  • Potential to secure external funding for research 
  • Potential to successfully teach college courses
