You will apply your SQL code development and custom report writing skills to ensure prospective MBA students and your admissions colleagues have an optimal experience engaging with the admissions CRM system (Slate by Technosolutions, https://technolutions.com/), and to provide high quality predictive analytics that inform life-changing admissions and scholarship award decisions. Position Purpose

Hands-on technical lead for admissions business operations, systems, technical processes, analytics, and other associated admissions operations activities according to Tuck’s mission, strategy, and institutional priorities.

Key Accountabilities

  1. Envisions, articulates, and implements plan for achieving admissions operations priorities, primarily in CRM user experience optimization and custom data reporting and analytics; engages with colleagues and constituents to identify and surpass challenges; evaluates progress using data analytics; and updates priorities with direction from the director. (5%)
  2. Manages admissions CRM system (Slate), related technology platform interfaces (e.g., Banner student information system), and associated system modules (communications, events, applications, interviews, and evaluation) (20%); delivers technical training to admissions and financial aid colleagues (10%); develops and deploys custom coding and reporting to optimize information flows and operational outcomes (20%); identifies and implements technical and programming innovations and solutions (10%); and performs other activities associated with achieving admissions operations priorities (5%).
  3. Contributes ideas, input, and support to initiatives, decisions, and communications with admissions operations implications. (10%)
  4. Collaborates with Tuck and Dartmouth data partners, institutional research teams, IT, and other offices and colleagues to conceptualize, manage, and complete shared data analytics and other projects and assignments. (15%)
  5. Gains knowledge of and shares insights into pertinent trends and innovations through market research, participation in peer networks and associations, and attending and representing Tuck at conferences, seminars, and speaking engagements. (5%)
  6. Demonstrates a commitment to diversity, inclusion, and cultural awareness through actions, interactions, and communications with others.

Required Qualifications

  1. Experience and skill successfully managing and supporting CRM systems (Slate, Salesforce, or similar), including SQL code development for reporting purposes; delivering high quality business analytics using tools, such as PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.; and building and strengthening partnerships with internal business partners to define requirements and execute delivery throughout the software development cycle.
  2. Knowledge of enterprise information systems and business intelligence analytics gained through a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field of study, or a combination of relevant education, certifications, and/or work experience. 
  3. Able to support, contribute to, and strengthen a vibrant, culturally diverse, and inclusive learning community of students, alumni, faculty, and fellow professionals.
